How To install Delta Emulator iOS 15 – iOS16?
We need to first install the Altstore which is an easy process that should only take about 10-15 minutes and it is all free. You can follow along this text guide or what my YouTube video on the matter down below:
The Altstore is an app store that allows you to install unofficial apps on your iPhone or iPad. This is great news for gamers because it means we can now play classic Nintendo games on our iOS devices with emulators!
To install the Altstore, you will need to first download it from their website. Here is the link: https://altstore.io
Once it is downloaded, open the file and install it on your MacOS or Windows device. Once it is installed, open the app on your computer and connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer and if it asks if you want to trust this computer make sure you “trust” it by putting in your unlock password on the iOS device.
Now you will need to go ahead and enable WiFi Syncing which you do with iTunes when you are in Windows or in Finder when you are on a Mac.
You enable Wifi syncing so that when you need to refresh your AltStore Server allowance every 7 days if you are a none Apple developer or every 365 days if you are an Apple developer active account, you don’t end up having to plug in every time to do the refresh. It will do it thru wifi instead.
Only on Mac you might see the “Install Mail Plug-in” alert so follow these instructions in order to install that thing, but no worries it is free and easy also and only needed on MacOS so Windows users no worries with the plug in. Link: If you see an “Install Mail Plug-in…” alert, follow the instructions on next page.
Now your Altstore settings and how you use it won’t be on a window like a normal application or program it will reside in your Task Bar for MacOS (check the image below) and for Windows users same thing (see the image below the MacOS one)
Here you can install the Altstore, but when you click install and selected your device that you want to install it to you will be asked for your Apple ID password and no worries it is safe to do so. It is done so to check with Apple servers that things are good and you will only need to provide your password for the initial install to your iDevice or when you allow the refresh time to hit 0 and have to install the Altstore again in these menus, but no worries if you do forget, because you don’t lose anything you just can’t use Altstore apps until you refresh it.
Once you have given your password information wait and the message saying that the intallation was a success should pop up on your computer or you should just see the app already on your iPhone or iPad home screens.
After you have installed the Altstore, you will need to go into your iPhone or iPad’s Settings app and navigate to “Profile Download” under the “General” tab. Here, you will need to select “AltStore → Install Profile.” Once you have done this, you should see a message that says “Profile Installed.”
https://faq.altstore.io/getting-started/how-to-install-altstore-macosNow, you are ready to install Delta Emulator! To do this, simply open the Altstore and search for “Delta Emulator”. Once you find it, click “Install” and it will be installed on your device within a few minutes.
You can find the roms for the delta emulator by doing a simple Google search. Just type in “delta emulator roms” and you should be able to find a website that has a bunch of different roms that you can download. Once you have downloaded the rom, you will need to unzip it and then open the Altstore and navigate to the “My Apps” section. Here, you will need to select “Delta Emulator → + → Add ROM.” Once you have done this, you should be able to find the rom that you downloaded and it will be ready to play!
