$60 Xbox Official Wired Headset

The $60 version of the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S headset is literally the same as the wireless one without the wireless centric stuff of course. It still supports spatial sound technologies like Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone:X so you aren’t getting a lower quality headset which the price indicates, but it is not the case.

This is literally the wired version of the $99 Xbox compatible wireless headset that rocked the gaming accessories world. I personally prefer wireless headsets, because I game on my bed and wife is present and the dog so when they want attention a cord can be a messy ordeal that ends up damaged.

The wired version does have the advantage of costing much less, almost 50% less, and having to not be recharged. It comes with the same body and sound quality from what we are hearing so it is a really great deal, but let me know in socials under RicheRichLabs what are your thoughts on the product that we will be able to get our hands on come this September in 2021.

$99 Xbox Wireless Headset

This is the bad boy that rocked the world of gaming accessories and even though it is not as good quality when it comes to sound as a SteelSeries 9X wireless headset it is less than half the price of that headset. This headset when compared to the wired version which cost $60 you are getting the freedom of wireless duh!

The Xbox Wireless Headset allows you to answer calls while listening to game audio so that means your music while you game from your phone and phone calls just in case the wife or a loved one needs to get a hold of you. Some of you already realized that your PC friends won’t have to be annoyed at you for forcing them to use the Xbox dashboard that is always broken on Windows 10 and instead you all can rely on the better alternative of Discord.

I personally would of gotten one, but it was practically impossible to get one due to how things are when it comes to shortages and heck don’t even get me started on how hard it is going to be to get a hold of the limited edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X console and Elite Series Controller Series 2.

The wired version will probably suffer the same fate, so for now, I will be sticking to my SteelSeries 9X wireless headset. I think it is awesome that Xbox decided to release official first party headset accessories, because Sony been doing it and their headset has a really cool design that I applaud them for releasing and had been wishing for Xbox to one up them and so far they at least matched them.

Let me know if you got your hands on one of these and how the sound quality is? I recommend this to those budget minded people that want something good that will be supported and maintained long term cause this headset does even allow you to tune it with specific software in the Xbox console.

PS: Xbox Game Pass rules!

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
